Private Underground Parking at Black Diamond

All Black Diamond Lodge rooms and suites have one complimentary parking space included in the accommodation price.  The Chalets and Apartments have two complimentary underground parking spaces included in the accommodation price.

Please note: the maximum height for cars (and roofboxes) using of our parking garages is 2 metres.

Black Diamond Restaurant and Bar

The Black Diamond Lodge restaurant and bar are open to resident guests staying in the Lodge and in our chalets and apartments. Please ensure you have made your dinner reservations at reservations@blackdiamondsaintefoy.com. Our menu is international cuisine with a use of locally available and fresh produce. We concentrate on popular dishes served well and attempt to appeal to all tastes and dietary preferences. Sit anywhere you like in the Lodge – casually dine in our bar or sit in our more formal restaurant area – the menu is the same wherever you choose to enjoy your dinner.

Black Diamond Spa

Your stay at Black Diamond includes complimentary use of our new indoor spa and outdoor hot tub terrace.  The Black Diamond indoor spa features a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub terrace and treatment room for massages.

The spa is open every day from 4pm to 8pm. If you would like to use the spa area outside of these hours, please let us know.

Children must be supervised at all times by someone aged 18 or older.

The spa is located in the middle of the Black Diamond complex of Lodge Rooms and chalets.

One complimentary spa towel is provided per week per guest.  A change of spa towels can be arranged for an additional charge.  Dressing gowns can be booked for an additional charge.  Please ask at Concierge when making your reservation should you wish to book a dressing gown.

In Room / Chalet Treats

For a special occasion, that special person or just because you want to; we have a list of pre-ordered treats that can be placed in your room for arrival or brought to you at a preferred time. Champagne and chocolates anyone? Our list includes:

-Bottle of prosecco or champagne on arrival

-Birthday cakes or celebration treats for special occasions

-Flowers in your room

-A birthday or anniversary cake at dinner

All of the above can be arranged as required for an additional agreed charge.

Childcare

We recommend you arrange your in-house childcare through a number of local nanny services.  Your children can be cared for in your Black Diamond Lodge room or suite or in your self-catered chalet or apartment.

My Mountain Nanny offer childcare services within Sainte Foy.  Contact them directly to make your arrangements as you require.

Massage Treatments

Our luxury spa offers all the treatments you need after a big day skiing, cycling or trekking.

Ski Equipment Hire

We work in partnership with Ski Set LG Sport (formerly La Chapelle – Store II). Please, if possible, pre-order your skis online at https://sainte-foy-sports-2.notresphere.com/en-gb You can collect them upon your arrival or in the morning if you arrive. late. Please quote “BLACK DIAMOND” when reserving your equipment to benefit from our customer discount.

Lift Passes

Sainte Foy has a new company who offer a number of different lift pass packages you may wish to consider when making your purchase.  They are all explained on their web site:  https://saintefoy-ski.com/en/#new_tab

We recommend that our guests purchase their passes directly from the lift pass company wherever possible for convenience, expediency and to select the right package.  We can of course purchase them for you as you wish and add the price of the passes to your bill.    You will need to let us know which package you prefer.  https://saintefoy-ski.com/en/#new_tab

Ski School

We partner with a number of Ski Schools in Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, and can recommend a school based on your parties needs and levels. Our ski school partners are:

PDS Academy

A British ski and snowboard school who prides itself in delivering exceptional private and group lessons as well as off-piste guiding for all ages and abilities in Tignes, Val d’Isere and Sainte Foy.

They are a team of professional, enthusiastic and friendly ski and snowboard instructors whose sole aim is to ensure you have the best possible experience on the mountain. Their team comprises fully qualified and experienced British instructors with all lessons taught in English.

Snocool

Snocool has always been one of our first choices for great private ski tuition: for private lessons, off-piste days and half-day guiding around the mountain. A new service is children’s group lessons: 6 skiers maximum per class for 2:45 hour lessons (mornings or afternoons).

Quality teaching by young, fun and dynamic native or English-speaking instructors.

Evolution 2
All types of lessons are offered at competitive prices: children and adults ski courses, off-piste and private lessons (1h or more), snowboarding courses, half and full day instruction for groups from one to 6 people, heli skiing, ski touring and snowshoe excursions. Also night time sledging excursions, treasure hunts for children, ice driving, ice diving, paragliding, snowkite and dog sledding.

Their instructors speak French and English and their groups are a maximum of 6 pupils.

• Ski or snowboard adult groups (children and adults mixed)

Ecole de Ski Francais
ESF specialise in group lessons for children aged 3 years old (6 in a class max) up to competition level with training and races on the slalom stadium. They also offer teenagers an off-piste course with a tracking appointment for mountain safety awareness.

Their English-speaking instructors also provide private ski/snowboard instruction, adult group lessons, ski guiding and several other interesting options on the mountain.

Private Airport Transfers

We can provide you with a list of transport partners with whom you can organise your travel directly.  Alternatively, we can supply you with a quote for airport transfers. Please ask the Concierge Team for assistance with this.  We will provide you with a quote for a transfer and if acceptable, you can accept the quote and book the transfer.
