The Resort
Sainte-Foy in the Tarentaise is one of France’s smaller resorts and a hidden gem. It is a traditionally-styled French alpine village and full of charm. Black Diamond Lodge sits within picturesque surroundings and offers warm and comfortable accommodation during winter and summer.
Naturally beautiful, the development of Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise station has ensured the continued use of natural stone, wood and slate across its chalets, and hotels.
This is not a motorway resort – life here is much more relaxed and friendly, so expect something a little special when you stay in Sainte Foy. Although quieter than some ski resorts there are bars, restaurants, sporting goods shops and the main grand plan lift is within a short walk of Black Diamond Lodge. Take a closer look at our rooms, and bar and restaurant.
Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is famous for uncrowded pistes and unparalleled off piste skiing in the winter. There are gentle learner pistes and great ski schools, making it ideal for beginners or children.
The pistes all culminate at the resort – so you can’t get lost or lose your young ones. And if you have a mixed ability group, you are likely to spot your friends and family as you ski around the resort.
